By accident we missed to put together the summary of the state of the art analysis'. No worries, now, at the very beginning of the realisation-phase might be a good time to remind ourselves of the key discoveries.
Behavioual design, as adressed by Emma became absolute centre of our attention. The reasons are several, we wanted something that could actually be implemented tomorrow and for further research we agreed we'd like to dive deeper into cognition science, i.e., mental models, feedback, decision making with aid from external cognition etc.
We also touched upon several of the analysed emerging technologies during the idea phase, VR, Smart Watches (Linnea), gesture based interaction (Josefine) and large touchscreens (Ariel) were all on the table at one point or another and some points made in those seems relevant even now.
For example, the feeling of doom, or the unpleasant experience a commuter might experience traveling in rush hour, as adressed by Fridas (Pendelkollen) and Viktors (VR), analysis, is very much something we want to try and get rid off.
Further, some of us discussed non functional requirements and different physical constraints we might encounter and this perspective could also prove valueable. Our design would be subject of a lot of enviromental stress at the same time as it needs to be a component pleasant to the eye of the commuter. I.e., requirements from the Volere Specification Template such as Look and feel, operational and envoronmental as well as maintainability and support.
