Today we discussed our prototype some more. The final design is now refined based on the evaluation and the think aloud. We decided to use lights by the floor in a red color since that made the users most aware of something happening(result from the think aloud). The focus will be to get users to move away from the door. This will solve the problem of people not getting on and off the train.
Our dream scenario for our prototype now looks like this:
User steps on the train and it gets crowded by the door. The floor lits up with red lights. People will move to a place in the train without the lights because red feels like a warning.
The lights turns off when the crowd have moved away.
